defrag//party al Week End: i video della serata! Sabato scorso, 20 febbraio, si è svolto il primo defrag//party al Week End di Berlino, uno dei locali più importanti in Europa per quel che concerne la scena techno di alto livello. Casa defrag// per l’occasione ha proposto lo stilosissimo liveset del patron Mario Masullo e il successivo e, quasi scontato dirlo, superlativo djset di Glitches. Italians do it better: la musica ha mandato in delirio i presenti… Ecco per voi alcuni video della serata! Cogliamo l’occasione per ricordarvi di iscrivervi al nostro defrag//tube su youtube!
Sog: il ritorno alle origini di Wolfgang Voigt Wolfgang Voigt è uno dei personaggi della scena techno che maggiormente ha influenzato l’evoluzione del sound di Colonia con la label seminale Profan. Dopo diversi side-projects dal suono poliedrico oggi Voigt torna alla techno minimale sotto il nome Sog con un singolo dal titolo “Abweichung”. Affrettatevi ad acquistare la versione in vinile, ne sono state stampate solo 400 copie!
Appuntamenti di questo weekend Doppia data per Daniel Stefanik (Freude am tanzen), dj dall’approccio “romantico” e mentale (nel suo mix techno-house-dub), che suonerà venerdì 26 febbraio all’Iroko di Salerno e sabato 27 al Tunnel di Milano. Sempre sabato 27 Carola Pisaturo (Claque Musique) proporrà il suo djset dallo stile eclettico e ricercato alla serata Flip Flop a Bari.

Clap Rules su DFA DFA l’independent dancelabel newyorkese fondata da Tim Goldsworthy e James Murphy pubblica il nuovo vinile 12” di Michoacan. Fernando Miranda “Michoacan” Rios, cavallo di razza DFA, che ha pensato bene di far remixare il suo “In The Dark of the Night” dai nostri (e nostrani!) Clap Rules on DFA DFA, NY independent dancelabel founded by Tim Goldsworthy and James Murphy, is releasing the new Michoacan 12” vinyl. Fernando Miranda “Michoacan” Rios, proudly representing the funkier side of DFA, asked to our homeboys Clap Rules for a remix of his track “In The Dark of the Night”. Clap Rules is an italian trio with a disco approach formed by Fabrizio Mammarella, Andrea Gabriele & Massimiliano Leggieri. The vinyl, with a strong funk color, will be released on march 30th, but you can pre-order it on DFA site. Soon news about these three disco-lovers… In the meanwhile you can taste this delicious track!

Nuovo album per Superpitcher
La maggiore notizia di questa settimana è relativa a Superpitcher, il quale ha completato il suo secondo studio album. Il titolo è “Kilimangiaro” e sarà pubblicato dalla Kompakt il 17 maggio. New album for Superpitcher
The big news this week is that Superpitcher has completed recording his sophomore studio album - it´s entitled KILIMANJARO and will be released here on KOMPAKT on 17 May. The first single is called RABBITS IN A HURRY and will be out on the 5 March. The folks at SELF-TITLED got the full scoop - you can read an interview with SUPERPITCHER where he talks all about the recording and more plus check out some lovely pics of his studio and a even have a listen/watch a youtube video for RABBITS IN A HURRY!
